You know what I’m terrible at? Finding the ketchup.

Seconds, minutes… probably hours of my life wasted searching for that elusive bottle. Why? Because the fridge is a black hole.

That lone pickle in a jar? Gotta keep it. Twelve different condiments? You never know when you’ll need ‘em. Feeling ambitious, bought 20 ingredients for a recipe you’ll never make again? Check. And those five-day-old onion rings? They’ve got at least two more days in ‘em.

Your fridge is kinda like your prospect’s email inbox. Cluttered, overloaded, and filled with stuff they’ll never get around to sorting.

Now, if you’re one of those “Inbox Zero” people, congrats, you’re a psycho. The rest of us? We let it pile up.

So why do we expect prospects to find our quote or follow-up email? It’s like hunting for that Chick-fil-A or Szechuan sauce—sure, they’ll find it… six months after it expires.

And voicemail? That’s like my sister-in-law’s fridge with three kids—so full you have to throw out the expired milk and mystery meat just to fit in the leftovers.
